Falésia Beach
     Was considered the best beach in Portugal winning the Travelers' Choice awards that distinguished the ten best beaches in Portugal, according to the reviews and ratings by TripAdvisor users. ( http://bit.ly/11NrSwn )
 Crowded in summer by families, is great for swimming because the beach has no rocks and the water is calm and clean. The best time to visit is from April to October.
 In Falesia Beach the sand is huge and extends for over 3km, flanked by a continuous line of high cliffs with typical tones or much ocher or too white, creating contrasting colors games with towering green spots of pine - meek.
     You can see in the base of the cliffs small cones of sand , which will fix the typical plants of the dunes. 
     It's a very nice beach, with a huge cliff that begins in the Belharucas Barranco Beach and extends to Vilamoura, is great for swimming because the beach has no rocks.



Olhos de Água
   Village of fishing origin, 5 km east of Albufeira, the county seat.
     Its name originated from the existence of several springs of fresh water in beach (unsalted water springs), by the sea and into the sea.


     Along these freshwater unsalted springs, set up Phoenicians, Carthaginians, and Romans, who practiced fishing and developed salting and drying of fish, which extended throughout the Algarve coast. Recently in archaeological work, traces of salting tanks from the Roman period have been found in the neighboring beaches Maria Luisa and Santa Eulalia.
     From the decade of the '60 tourism, in fast growing, has been the major driver of the economy in Olhos de Água, increasing the number of hotels, shops, restaurants, bars, apartments, hotels.
     Olhos de Água is a prime area of the city, where are the best 4 * and 5 * of the county and the best beach in Portugal (Praia da Falésia) without forgetting the excellent golf courses such as Pine Cliffs Golf Course, one of the most unique golf courses in the country, built in the middle of a pine forest, with tree-lined fairways that stretch parallel to the Atlantic Ocean, providing all who visit, and breathtaking views. 
     As heritage in the area you can also visit the Tower of Medronheira, built in the reign of John III, served as a lookout to warn the coastal villages of the approaching pirates.
     Olhos de Água is a perfect place for family holidays, where most services are within walking distance, there are different beaches, bars, cafés, traditional restaurants, supermarkets, bank, shops, post office, health center, private clinic , hotels, bus stop to go direct to Albufeira, taxis, all services for a fantastic holiday.
